1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ValueOS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

ValueOS is operated by JC Consult LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), located at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor, 1647, New York, NY 10013. The Service is designed to help you discover your values, build principles, and track your integrity over time.

2. Description of Service

ValueOS provides:

• AI-guided value discovery through conversational coaching
• Tools to create and manage personal principles and commitments
• Monthly integrity reports and progress tracking
• An AI coaching partner based on Jord Cuiper's methodology
• Pattern recognition and insights based on your data

3. User Accounts

To use ValueOS, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious code or content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by JC Consult LLC and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (your values, principles, stories, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

ValueOS uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching and insights. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is for informational and self-reflection purposes only
• The Service is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice
• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate
• You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on AI-generated content

7. Beta Access

During the beta period:

• The Service is provided free of charge
• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice
• There is no guarantee of uptime or availability
• We do not guarantee that data will be migrated between beta and production versions of the Service
• We may limit or terminate access at any time

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JC Consult LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JC Consult LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service
• Any decisions made based on information provided by the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JC Consult LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
